Paladin Technologies is looking to add a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. This is a hybrid full-time regular position. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will nurture relationships with prospective talent, develop candidate pipelines, research, assess and identify new and innovative strategies and tools, for recruiting great talent and manage business relationships with internal clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, coupled with full-cycle recruiting experience for Engineering, Construction, Building Automation, Security Technologies, Corporate and hourly field based positions.  

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with department heads regarding recruiting needs to develop attraction strategies and championing organic growth initiatives while building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and leadership team.
  • Conduct high volume recruitment efforts through full-cycle recruiting, including internal referrals and sourcing of passive external candidates.
  • Write and place advertisements.
  • Schedule/Conduct interviews and manage onboarding.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Maintain compliance with federal (US only), state and provincial regulations concerning employment.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting (internal and external) recruitment activities.
  • Drive special projects to completion and other relevant tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Act as a Point of Contact for external vendors; including documentation, managing full project lifecycle, and account management for your open requisitions.
  • Lead, train and mentor team members as required.
  • Participate in continual improvement activities; including hiring & selection policies, developing employer branding strategies and utilizing technology in combination with data and analytics to drive process enhancements.
  • Be the ‘Subject Matter Expert’ for headhunting, sourcing, and presenting candidates to the business; including talent mapping, proactive recruiting and building a diverse talent pipeline.
  • Commit to a high level of candidate care throughout interviewing and hiring process (no matter what stage).
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or a related field is preferred, or commensurate experience required.
  • 8 – 10 years of experience within Talent Acquisition (agency or inhouse would be considered an asset)
  • Extensive understanding of HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems as demonstrated by 6 or more years of experience
  • Extensive experience working with sourcing platforms; LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume Database and ZoomInfo.
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, salary benchmarks and competitive landscapes within the construction and building automation field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification is preferred and or Canadian equivalent
  • Foundational knowledge of employment laws and regulations across North America (including Canada & USA)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to deliver effective presentations to staff members.
  • Detailed-oriented, accurate, thorough and takes extreme pride in work.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
