The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for providing the Fleet Department with the support related to management of maintenance and fuel expense, inventory tracking, title management, purchasing of vehicles and managing vendor relationships including GPS provider.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Budget and plan for annual factory fleet orders, together with our External Fleet Management provider, Enterprise, for both new and replacement vehicles across North America, based on a three-year cycle period
  • Manage and plan for upfitting of all new vehicles, together with Enterprise, ensuring a consistent upfitting package, by vehicle type, while maintaining appropriate brand image and decaling
  • Liaise with local branch leaders on additional vehicle needs outside of factory orders
  • Work with Enterprise to sell vehicles that Branches are no longer utilizing
  • Purchase and manage GPS devices for all fleet vehicles, and run monthly reports to ensure all remain active
  • Review and execute maintenance agreements for all new, leased vehicles, while reviewing and approving maintenance costs for owned vehicles to ensure cost efficiency
  • Perform costing analysis on vehicle maintenance and fuel consumption, identifying potential cost savings opportunities
  • Work closely with Enterprise to ensure execution of titling and insurance for all new vehicles, and transfers/cancellations for those that are sold 
  • Updating title, branch and driver information within the Enterprise Database to ensure up-to-date details on the active fleet
  • Development and implementation of a North American fleet policy, including an “Employee Responsibility” document that must be signed by each employee prior to issuance of a Company vehicle.
  • Review and update of Paladin’s Fleet Policy, at minimum, on an annual basis
  • Review of employee demerits on a semi-annual basis to ensure eligibility to use a Company vehicle
  • Management of the fleet Fuel Card Program
  • Assistance with the annual auto insurance renewal, including working with Branch Leaders and employees to obtain Drivers Abstracts
  • Accident management, including processing of claims, liaising with Paladin’s and third-party insurance providers, as necessary
  • Provide training/onboarding support for all new drivers to ensure understanding of company policies and procedures related to the use of company provided vehicles.
  • Provide monthly/quarterly reports to Branch Leaders on maintenance expenses, fuel expenses, driver score cards and inventory levels.
  • Other ad-hoc projects and duties, as it relates to Fleet.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet administration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 or more years’ experience partnering with a Fleet Management provider, Enterprise preferred

  • Must be able to effectively communicate, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers; manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment 
WORKING CONDITIONS: In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 
  • The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate 
Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 (DOE)
