The Warehouse Lead will assist in the orderly production and distribution of products by receiving incoming materials from vendors, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging materials and supplies for final distribution. This position will also assist in the monitoring of inventory and assets of the company as well as managing the location of these assets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provides ongoing leadership in the warehouse to attain department objectives including safety, quality, delivery, and costs
  • Delegates tasks and manages progress to ensure successful completion of department objectives
  • Assists in identifying, implementing, and streamlining warehouse operations
  • Document any warehouse problems and issues
  • Ensures safe use of warehouse equipment and adherence to business processes
  • Maintains and promotes internal work instructions and supports continuous improvement programs
  • Assists in leading team to improve productivity, quality, and safety of warehouse.
  • Assists in planning and designing efficient warehouse operation processes and layouts
  • Performs regular inventory counts and warehouse audits.
  • Ensures the security of warehouse and warehouse contents
  • Processes RMA’s and ensures proper RMA procedures are followed by all warehouse staff
  • Deliver and pick up material to site/from distribution
  • Liaise with the Accounting team on a regular basis to ensure packing slips and invoices are received, and that RMAs are accurately processed and completed efficiently
  • Work with the Fleet Manager to ensure all technician vehicles are kept clean and safe operating conditions are maintained
  • Maintain, document and account for all tools. Check in/out and tools and vehicles. Once returned, clean and inspect tools to ensure working order and check for damage/ensure working order
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse lead experience
  • Clean driving record and valid driver license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working experience of inventory management software
  • Experience in operating a forklift
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines
  • Familiarity with inventory management
  • Solid judgement along with decision making skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay Range $30.00ph - $35.00ph DOE

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, in English, (i.e. see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with employees and/or customers; manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, and lifting of moderate/heavy objects, and operating office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, may be required to travel to and from job site locations, and may work occasionally in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is generally considered moderate.
