Bosch Building Technologies Integrator Business
The regional system integration business called Bosch Building Technologies offers solutions and customized services for building security, energy efficiency, and building automation for commercial buildings and infrastructure projects Bosch started its Integrator Business in North America through the acquisition of Climatec in 2015. Climatec expanded Bosch’s role as a comprehensive supplier of energy, building automation and security solutions. Climatec is recognized in the building industry as an independent single-source integrator of critical building systems including energy services, building automation and security & life safety in the U.S. market. The company provides consulting, planning, implementation and 24/7 remote management. Climatec is active in several market segments and industries including data centers, commercial real estate buildings, and federal, state, and local government. Climatec has operated as an independent entity, maintaining its offices in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, New York, and New Jersey. Climatec continues to represent and integrate numerous leading manufactures’ product lines across its wide range of services, including Bosch products. Job Summary:
The position of Project Lead - Security reports to the Director, Operations. You are expected to devote your full-time efforts to the business of Bosch Building Technologies. This position will require extensive travel across Canada and working within multiple correctional facilities regularly. The role is expected to become fully emersed and specialized in all common technologies (software and hardware) and systems deployed in correctional facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Leading Installation and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarms.
- Pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Prepares and executes Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client and future service needs.
- Assist in system design and layout.
- Provide customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiries.
- Relationship building with clients and prospects for future opportunities.
- Administrative duties including project updates, completing and filing all project documentation.
- You may be required to be “on-call” before or after your regularly scheduled hours, and/or on a day when you are not regularly scheduled to work.
- You may be required to work “night shifts” when needed based on project/service requirements.
- Guiding technicians and subcontractors as necessary to deliver effectively on schedule.
- Communicating progress and challenges effectively with project management team.
- Troubleshooting and repair of hardware and software of our integrated systems.
- Work with manufacturers’ technical support teams to resolve system issues.
- Be available and willing to participate in a after hours On-Call rotation.
- Complete detailed and accurate paperwork, and assist with as-built documentation.
- Build confidence with clients and stakeholders and enhance the organizations reputation throughout the industry.
- Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as.
- Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism.
- Work at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other.
- Work in confined spaces as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Progressive leadership experience in a construction environment with experience managing projects.
- Experience managing low voltage, security, or structured cabling projects.
- Demonstrated experience implementing a strong safety culture.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sedona, and project software
- Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in engineering, architecture, construction management, or technology.
- Experience with these systems - Integrated Video Surveillance, Perimeter Intrusion, FDS, MDS, Radar, Multi-Layered Networking, Integrated Watch Tour Systems and PLC Door Control Systems.
- Trades Qualified (electrical, low voltage, controls, HVAC).
- Experience working on correctional facility.
- Bilingual (French and English)
Salary Range: $36.93 - $52.25 (DOE)

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Confined space entry may be required. High work may be required.
