The Vancouver-based Inside Sales position will work closely with the Intrusion and Monitoring team to ensure that our customers are provided with the highest quality service. The ideal candidate will have superior customer service and sales skills, and must be highly organized and able to prioritize. We are growing rapidly across Canada, and our Inside Sales position must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
We’re looking for an Inside Sales, Intrusion & Monitoring Services professional to play a key role in connecting our Sales, Service, and Project teams. This position will ensure seamless communication, accurate and timely quote generation, and reliable CRM management. The Inside Sales role will also provide exceptional support to clients without assigned Account Managers, oversee all alarm-related accounts, and assist with project-related coordination to ensure a consistent and professional customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the selling and administration of security systems, technology solutions (AV/Data), intrusion systems, and monitoring services from our ULC-listed Central Station.
- Assist internal team members (including outside sales, project management, and the service department) with the sale and coordination of monitoring services.
- Review and assess business alarm requirements for monitoring requests, preparing accurate BOMs and quotations for end-user clients and internal teams.
- Obtain client approvals and support team members with intrusion and monitoring sales opportunities.
- Manage sales administration for new alarm customers, including moves, adds, and changes (MACs) in the system.
- Support customer care and the central station with new customer setups and account activations.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, IT, Engineering, and other corporate departments to drive the success of monitoring services.
- Interact directly with customers requiring monitoring services, ensuring timely communication and support.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to customer requests for proposals, bids, or quotations.
- Propose and present new solutions for security, integrated system technologies, and infrastructure related to monitoring services.
- Follow up on all sales leads and maintain accurate records of systems, opportunities, and forecasts in the CRM.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal team members.
- Maintain a positive attitude, self-motivation, passion for success, and commitment to delivering quality results.
- Perform additional duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Strong computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and project / quoting software.
- Experience in a technical sales role, producing quotes, estimates, and project design.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with alarms and/or integrated systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Post-secondary education in electronics, electrical, or equivalent.

Pay Range: $55,000 - $62,500 DOE
