Senior Service Technician - Audio Visual Systems

We are looking for a Senior Technician to Service installed commercial audiovisual systems. This includes configuration, integration, and testing of, videoconferencing, multimedia, projection systems, displays, cameras, microphones, control systems, DSP’s, streaming, and collaboration technologies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Service, troubleshooting and testing of audiovisual systems including but not limited to,  videoconferencing and multimedia systems, projection systems, displays, camera systems, DSP’s, microphone systems,  VoIP,  control systems,  Zoom, MS Teams and collaboration technologies.
• Conduct onsite user and administrative training to customers on the operation and functionality of installed equipment.
• Conduct customer site survey.
• Prepare detailed service and trouble-ticket reports and maintenance of customer service profiles.

• 5-7 years of related experience in support and trouble-shooting integrated audiovisual and videoconferencing systems.
• BA or BS degree desired and/or equivalent work experience.
• Industry certifications CTS / CTS-I, Dante, etc.
• Working knowledge of Polycom, Cisco, Zoom MS Teams, Crestron control systems, Biamp, SoundStructure and Q-Sys DSPs.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting experience.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong project management skills, detail oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong oral and written skills.
• Solid problem solving and consultative skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
