We are seeking a QA/QC Coordinator to support a healthcare new construction project focused on various IMIT systems, including Structured Cabling, Nurse Call, Wireless, Radio, Network, Security, Clocks and Audiovisual systems.

This role works closely with the on-site Project Management Team to ensure quality standards are met, interdependent trade work is properly coordinated, and deficiencies are effectively tracked and resolved throughout the project lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the project-specific QA/QC Plan.
  • Work closely with the on-site Project Management team to identify and flag quality issues involving interdependent work from other trades, including conducting daily inspections.
  • Ensure proper rough-in locations, device backboxes, pathways, sleeves, and supports are coordinated prior to IMIT system installation.
  • Inspect system installations under our scope to ensure compliance with contract documents, project specifications, and workmanship quality standards.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and proactively identify risks that may impact IMIT system quality or system functionality.
  • Perform regular field inspections of the assigned job site, as required, ensuring compliance with established Quality Standards as delegated by the Superintendent.
  • Support implementation of the deficiency management process, including:
    • Conducting walkthroughs with the project team and stakeholders
    • Ensuring deficiencies are properly documented
    • Tracking deficiencies through to resolution
  • Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required and coordinate with the Project Team, Subcontractors, and Clients for disposition and closure.
  • Support the team in documenting project status through 3D site captures.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Project Manager and Superintendent on the status of deficiency completion items.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • Experience in QA/QC within construction or IMIT systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • Experience working on healthcare construction projects.
  • Experience with Procore and Fieldwire.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, (i.e. see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers
  • Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment
  • Sitting, standing, walking in office environments and construction sites
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be required to work at heights over 1.8m (6 feet)

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated.  Noise levels are considered low to moderate
  • Will be required to be on site with customers or contractors, with or without Bosch BT colleagues to manage the expectations and deliverables. Sites range from general office environments to new construction.
  • Driving to customer sites is required
  • Limited overnight travel may be required


Pay : $53,000 -$80,000 D.O.E
